Hi, I’m Alica [Pronounced uh-lish-uh], the proud owner and lead photographer at Sweet Ginger Photography, specializing in capturing life's most cherished moments. Since establishing my business in 2016, I’ve had the joy of providing family photography, wedding photography, and portrait sessions that reflect authenticity and emotion.

My journey into professional photography began with a passion for preserving memories and quickly evolved through dedicated coursework and hands-on experience. What started as a hobby has flourished into a trusted business, capturing countless families, couples, and special events each year.

As a mom, wife, and entrepreneur, I balance running Sweet Ginger Photography while being a dedicated stay-at-home mom to my two wonderful children. I take pride in offering a personalized photography experience, ensuring every session is relaxed, fun, and meaningful.

I try to make the best out of every situation and I try to bring so much positivity to life. I am always most happy creating, anything really, or spending time with my family. I care about the people in my life immensely. 

I hold many roles in my life, but among the most important are mother, sister, aunt, daughter. I have two children, Sophia & Holden, whom I adore! They are a huge motivation for my business and the main motivator to ditch the 9-5 job and spend more time being there for them through all their important moments.

I’m often described as having a calm, approachable energy, and I truly enjoy connecting with clients on a deeper level. Whether it’s celebrating milestones like graduations, weddings, or welcoming a new baby, I aim to build lasting relationships and document your most meaningful moments.

I have a deep passion for creativity, which flows through everything I do—photography, trying new crafts, and embracing new experiences. I’m always experimenting with new creative outlets, and if there’s a craft you love, I’ve probably tried it!

The beach is my happy place, where the sound of the waves and feeling the sand beneath my toes helps me feel grounded. I also have a deep love for exploring new places and experiencing the world, embracing the wanderlust lifestyle whenever I can.
